Again this year the FM 1960 St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee will be raising funds to promote scholarships to help those individuals needing assistance with their education. To read more about the impact of these scholarships click here.
There are individuals in our area that need assistance in continuing their education. At Cypress Creek EMS we utilize the scholarship and education fund to help those wanting to continue their education to become an EMT-P (Paramedic). It costs about $3700 to pay for the school, books, and uniforms to become an EMT-P. Your donation to this cause will help those who qualify for a scholarship complete their education and help keep teaching tools up to date. To qualify each candidate must submit an application, resume, and essay stating why they would like to become an EMT-P. They must also pass a background check and interview process. The 1960 Parade Committee and Cypress Creek EMS are committed to helping our community have the very best in emergency medical care and we would appreciate your donation.
